Stairs are always something you’ll want to look out for. It is too easy for your little crawler or walker to slip down the stairs and have a huge accident. Be sure to get baby gates to keep little ones from crawling up and down the stairs.

Take a Look at the Water Heater

Always have your water heater set to about 120 degrees Fahrenheit. This will completely eliminate the chance of severe burns. Allowing your water to be much hotter than this can be very dangerous

Get a Toilet Lock

Toilet locks are designed to keep little curious fingers out the way of a slamming toilet. Installing one of these will also limit where your baby can touch, so that they don’t plunge themselves in a bowl of germs.

Move All Cords

Go around the house, into all the rooms and make sure cords are out of baby’s reach. Little ones love to put things in their mouths. Cords included.

Inspect Hand Me Down Baby Equipment

You might have family or friends that offer to give you some of their lightly used baby gear. Just make sure to fully inspect these items before putting baby in them.
