Even when things feel stressful or excessively busy, make time for enough restful sleep each night. Establishing a bedtime routine can help, as can participating in yoga or mindfulness meditation.
4. Continue seeing your friends
It’s easy to lose touch with friends and family when you’re buying a home. With this in mind, be sure to make time for the people you love, even when you’re stressed out or busy. Involving friends and family members in viewing homes and attending open houses is a great way to schedule this time in, as is making plans for a weekly dinner or breakfast.
You’ll quickly find that, not only are most people interested in helping, but they’re more than willing to do whatever you need.
5. Take a break when you need it
Sometimes, it’s important to take a break from the house search. If you’ve been at it for a while, give yourself a weekend or so to take a step back and relax. This can serve as a significant mental health break that will allow you to make better decisions in the future.
